Benjamin Franklin Founding Father or Satanic Killer?

The next time a Tea-bagger  starts talking nonsense about our Founding Fathers being Christians you might want to point this out.

One of the most beloved figures of American history has to be Benjamin Franklin. The guy who found a way to harness electricity from lightening. The guy who published "Poor Richard's Almanac." The guy whose face is on a  $100 bill.

Although he was never president, he was institutional in the American revolution and the formulation of the new government. In his later years, Franklin was a celebrated statesman, and ambassador to England, where he lived for quite some time.

By all biographical accounts, Franklin, although revered, was no saint. He had an eye for the ladies; despite the fact that he was married. He was said to have consorted with a number of ladies outside of his marriage and was not above paying for female company now and then.

In addition to being a member of the Freemasons, an ancient fraternity linked to the occult, Franklin was also a member of "The Hellfire Club," when he lived in England. The Hellfire Club was an exclusive, English club that met sporadically during the mid 18th century. Its purpose, at best, was to mock traditional religion and conduct orgies. At worst, it involved the indulgence of satanic rites and sacrifices. The club to which Franklin belonged was established by Francis Dashwood, a member of Parliament and friend of Franklin. The club, which consisted of "The Superior Order," of 12 members, allegedly took part in basic forms of satanic worship. In addition to taking part in the occult, orgies and parties with prostitutes were also said to be the norm. It is said that all of the members of the society had political affiliations and political gossip was exchanged among the members as well as favors.

The motto of "The Hellfire Group" was, in Latin, "fay ce que voudrais," or, in English, "Do what you will."

In addition to promoting orgies and worshiping Satan, the members of the club, which was set up as a mock monastery, the members calling one another "Brother" and the prostitutes being referred to as "nuns," made public sacrifices to the deities Bacchus and Venus.

All of the tales of Franklin's debauchery and satanic worship might be amusing nearly 250 years later, except for the fact that in 1998, workmen dug up the remains of ten bodies hidden beneath the former London home of Benjamin Franklin.

This incident was reported on February 11, 1998 by the Sunday-Times news company in the United Kingdom. Although it never was reported in the United States, where Franklin is practically an icon. The bodies were that of four adults and six children and were found buried beneath the basement kitchens. The remains were determined to have been buried during the period which Franklin lived at the house. According to Evangeline Hunter-Jones, the deputy chairman of the Friends of Benjamin Franklin House, the charity that was restoring the property, the bones were buried very deep and it was possible that there might even be more bodies buried. Hunter-Jones theorized that the reason the bones were buried so deed was not so much to conceal the odor of a rotting corpse, but to hide the fact that the bodies were there in the first place; as grave robbing was illegal.

Upon the discovery of the bones in the property, which is very close to the famous Trafalgar Square in London, Paul Knapman, the Westminster Coroner said he could not rule out the possibility that a crime had been committed. Most of the bones displayed some signs of having been dissected, sawn or cut. One skull had been drilled with several holes. At the time of the discovery, nearly 10 years ago, Knapman felt that there was a possibility that an inquest would have to be held.

There was no inquest, however. As a matter of fact, the story no sooner broke than it was swept under the rug.

The "prime suspect" in the case was said to be one William Hewson, one of the founders of British surgery, who also happened to be the husband of the daughter of Franklin's landlady, Mary Stevenson. It is conjectured that the bodies were "anatomical specimens" that Hewson used in lectures and teachings. Franklin's involvement in this matter, which at the very least is grave robbing, is dismissed by the "Friends of Benjamin Franklin House." They surmise that Franklin let Hewson use the house and moved in with Mary Stevenson and knew nothing about what was going on below the stairs of his home.

This could be possible except for the fact that Hewson died in 1774. Franklin is said to have lived in the house until 1775, a whole year later. Could it be possible that he lived in the house for a year after Hewson's death and didn't smell the corpses rotting?

In 1978, the remains of 27 young men and boys were found beneath the crawlspace at the home of one John Wayne Gacy, in Illinois. Gacy was convicted of murder, despite the fact that other people lived in the home with Gacy at the time of the murders. But Gacy's extracurricular activities (namely his appetite for rough sex with male prostitutes) and the fact that the victims had been sexually abused, made Gacy the prime suspect. In 1994, Gacy was executed by lethal injection.

Had Gacy died prior to his arrest, the bodies might not have been discovered for many years afterwards, if ever.

What happened to the people whose bones lay beneath Benjamin Franklin's house for such a long time? Were they victims of foul play? Ritualistic sacrifices? Had the bodies been discovered sooner, there might be an answer. And had Franklin's links to the occult and Satanism been made public at the time, would he have been convicted of murder and hanged?

We will probably never find out the truth about what happened to the 10 people buried beneath Benjamin Franklin's house. But it is interesting and eerie to think that we might be paying homage to a serial killer.

Think of that the next time you get a $100 bill.

Ben Franklin is a killer who stole the lives of children for the sick pleasure of his satanic rituals. The story of " grave robbing" for medical knowledge has far too many holes. Ben Franklin killed these children to attempt to gain evil power. The innocent children's bodies where dismembered and obviously displaying signs of torture. The public should be informed of this! No child should be tortured or have their bodies sawed apart then bured in a grave under a home. That is a disrespect to those children. The public should honor the memories of these victims and give the bodies proper graves . Take a serial killer off the americain money!
