You always bring me a different perspective I hadn't thought of. I fear there is another agenda, that being: to stifle descent. The internet has given the investigative type a very popular, easy to access and a far reaching medium to expose corruption and the corrupt. There are so many people who have not been able to connect the dots between the Big Corporations, Washington & State Governments. Even if by accident more & more people are 'getting it' just by surfing the Net. Killing Net Neutrality is a back door way of Censorship (just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me...(I love that quote). Hopefully the apathetic will feel the squeeze enough to motivate them into action because the truth is, there are far many of us (the squeezed) than there are of them (the squeezers).

A caged tiger bites twice as hard -Chinese ProverbA Free America: You Decidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14007361542779269546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-857365309075234859.post-44746639029899076062010-06-04T04:19:55.468-07:002010-06-04T04:19:55.468-07:00This is unbelievable that we are yet again sold ou...This is unbelievable that we are yet again sold out because the giant telecoms have deeper pockets than we the people. If they succeed in stifling net neutrality regulation, we are at the mercy of At&t, Comcast, Google, etc... They will be able to dictate who gets preferred bandwidth and who doesn't.

Let me guess: the rich and the powerful get preferred bandwidth while the rest of us are screwed. Isn't democracy great? We have such a wide variety of choices when we step into the voting booth. Either Republicrat A, who says they represent us yet enacts legislation for the sole benefit of the wealthy and the powerful; or Republicrat B who seems to be identical to Republicrat A.

Where is a legitimate third party to represent real progressive interests? Oh, that's right, the Supreme Court recently assured that out two party plutocracy (as you put it Patricia) will rule in perpetuity. God Bless the Corporations, our masters and overlords.Todd Curlhttp://thetoddblog.com/noreply@blogger.com
